For many families in Guatemala, access to medical assistance is out of reach. AMG supports their thousands of students with a medical needs fund, medical and dental teams, a medical and dental clinic and nutritional monitoring and support.

To the north, in Cubulco Baja Vera Paz, AMG operates a 25 bed hospital that responds to a community of over 60,000 mostly indigenous people. The hospital was recently reconstructed and offers general medicine consultations, 3 surgical suites, minor surgery suite, labor & delivery, ultra-sound, emergency services, x-ray, laboratory, 3 dental clinics and a retail pharmacy. Medical teams from the U.S., Canada and Europe visit throughout the year, offering specialized services.

On the same campus there is a nutritional recovery center, which supports malnourished children, restoring them to health and providing training for mothers on how to properly provide for the health and well-being of their children. An agricultural program offers lots for locals to farm on, technical training, seeds and free consultation to local families.
